In January 2010, Meile Group and Shanghai Phoenix Bicycle jointly established Shanghai Phoenix Company, becoming the second largest shareholder of Shanghai Phoenix. The important production base was relocated and renovated and settled in Danyang. According to statistics, the production and sales of bicycles in Shanghai Phoenix increased significantly in 2016, with 2.9032 million bicycles produced and 2.9095 million sold, with year-on-year growth of 35.12% and 36.12% respectively.

In the first quarter of 2017, Shanghai Phoenix Bicycle Jiangsu Co., Ltd.'s bicycle sales reached 1.15 million units, a year-on-year increase of 215%. All of this is thanks to the favorable opportunities brought by Shanghai Phoenix holding hands with OFO shared bicycles. It is reported that OFO is one of the two giants of shared bicycles. As a well-known old brand, it has taken the lead in exploring the overseas OFO shared bicycle market and is also the only supplier of OFO's overseas market. Shanghai Phoenix has a strong bicycle supply chain integration capability, a mature bicycle production and research and development quality control system, and fast and economical procurement advantages, which are not fully met by other production oriented companies in the same industry. Zhang Daohu said that the current sales situation of the "Phoenix" brand bicycle market is good, and the order supply is in short supply. The company not only produces shared bicycles but also more than a hundred types of high-end bicycles from the Phoenix brand. 50% of the products are sold to the domestic market and 50% are sold to foreign markets.

As an executive shareholder of Shanghai Phoenix Bicycle Co., Ltd., Meile Group has been engaged in the production of various bicycle components for many years. Meile Industrial Park also has subsidiary companies involved in the auxiliary manufacturing of numerous components such as electroplating, baking paint, spray molding, electrophoresis, injection molding, welding, frame manufacturing, mold manufacturing, cardboard box manufacturing, wheel weaving, etc., distributed within the industrial park, forming a vehicle manufacturing environment with obvious advantages in industrial chain manufacturing.

After the entire vehicle is assembled, each batch of vehicles also undergo a round of spot check performance testing. The cycling track in the park is prepared for dynamic experiments on outgoing bicycles. At present, the company is actively building a new testing center, and will soon build the largest testing center in East China. The mileage, safety testing, fatigue testing of the frame, and electroplating testing of components will all be conducted here. Professional testing equipment, personnel, and standards will conduct comprehensive mechanical and surface testing for every bicycle produced by Phoenix, providing protection for every rider riding Phoenix.
